DVD compatibility in different countries. |

Our DVDs are NTSC, Region 0 (ALL Region) and are playable in the United
States, Canada, Japan, Mexico, the Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, and
some other countries (see map). However, our DVDs can also be played
in countries that use the PAL and SECAM video system but
your DVD player must be multi-system and capable of playing NTSC
discs.
Most all post-2001 DVD players manufactured outside of the United
States are multi-system. If you're not sure, please check your owner's manual.
We have MANY international (PAL) customers. For more information read

shipped via regular United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail with
no package tracking. Please note: we do not offer overnight
or super rush delivery service.

and shipped
within 48 hours or less after receiving payment. (Excluding weekends and holidays.)
After that it's up the United States Postal Service and any international
postal service on the receiving end. (US orders are generally received
in 5-10 days. International orders vary by country, but are generally
received in 7-21 days but can take up to 8 weeks). Please note:
Postal services can be irregular. A great many international packages arrive at their destination in 7 days.
Then, to the same destination, it may take 6-8 weeks.
Why? I don't know. Sometimes
packages get delayed by customs so be sure to check your customs office if
it's been a long time.
If
you are a US customer and have been waiting more than 2-3 weeks from shipping
date, or an international customer and you've been waiting more than 7-8 weeks
from shipping date,
please check with your local
post office and/or customs office and ask about a package from New Paltz, NY, USA.
Customers
have told me that they've found their package sitting on a shelf in their
local post office or customs office. Note: The package will be a
yellow bubble mailer or possibly a cardboard box.

What is your video master source? How is the quality? |

About
sixty-percent of our catalog comes from film-chained 16mm and 35mm masters
or TV station broadcast masters. The rest come from various high-quality
sources. We have regularly upgraded titles to achieve
our goal of offering very high quality material. To prove this
point, sometimes we have acquired the same title several times before
we actually list it in the catalog. On the other hand, there are a few
titles that should be better quality to meet our standards, yet we keep them
in the catalog anyway because we haven't come across better quality and they're just too damn cool and
important to leave out. In most cases the titles in our catalog represent the
"best quality that's out there"and we've been looking for years.
Please remember that this material is very rare and hard to find. If
you have reasonable expectations and do not expect modern day "Hollywood
DVD" quality, you will be very satisfied. Here's what our customers think:

VHS videos
come in cardboard boxes and DVDs come in high quality plastic movie
cases. However, we do create cool looking custom labels. To this point,
here's an observation: We've seen many videos and DVDs that come
with movie poster cover art where the video quality is
very marginal or just plain bad. (Ask yourself if you've seen the
same.) At The VIDEO BEAT! we stand
behind our video quality, but we don't have fancy cover art.

and we'll send you an email with return instructions.
Return options include replacement of same title or, at store owner's
discretion, exchange for another title.
We operate by the principle that we want you to be 100% satisfied. However, we will not accept a return or exchange just
because you 1) didn't like the movie, 2) ordered the wrong title
or the title was not what you expected, 3) forgot to enter the correct
discount code, 4) the disc or tape is not compatible with your player.
